Nurture-U overview - intro for new advisors

On 4th November 2024 we had a Nurture-U overview meeting - an introduction to new advisors and refresher for the established!

Jemima gave an overview of Nurture-U as a whole, how student advisors have been involved so far and what we have coming up this year.

There's opportunities for getting involved with social media and promotion, data analysis and writing up papers, attending and presenting at conferences, and joining our board meetings! Please watch the video, read the slides, and get in touch with Jemima or nurture-u@exeter.ac.uk if you're interested in getting involved or have any questions.

Charlie, one of our advisors now working on the U-Belong project at Kings College London, also promoted the U-Belong survey and project - find out more here https://www.u-belong.uk/

Our next meeting will be in the last week of November to talk about the initial survey findings. Keep an eye on your emails for the Doodle poll!

The Nature-U overview is a great introduction for new advisor, clearly convey the message much like a Marty Supreme Jacket that is professional and reliable.

It’s great to see a platform focused on helping students and advisors understand their roles in the best way. It is important to guide students through both learning and time management. Sometimes, when students face a heavy workload, they look for write my assignment service for better guidance. Students must be aware of these resources so that they can get better help in their academic journey.

I really enjoyed the Nurture-U overview-great insights! It pertains especially to me while currently editing theses of postgraduate students with data analysis and writing skills. This is a perfect sharpening tool for these research and editing skills in a real-life context. I'm considering joining one of the board meetings to learn more about it. Thanks, Jemima, and to the whole team for making it so clear and welcoming. Recommend watching the video if you're interested in getting involved!
